Attorney Brian T. Cagle

Brian graduated from the Widener University School of Law magna cum laude in 2008, from Mercyhurst College in 2004, and from Saegertown High School in 2000. During law school, Brian earned Certificates of Achievement in Wills & Trusts, as well as Business Organizations. He also served as a staff member and editor for the Widener Law Journal.

Prior to joining Pepicelli, Youngs and Youngs, Brian was an assistant district attorney in York County, Pennsylvania for two years. As an assistant DA, he was responsible for numerous jury trials, bench trials, and other hearings. Brian was a law clerk to the Honorable Michael E. Bortner in the York County Court of Common Pleas for one year after law school. Brian reviewed pleadings, motions, and other documents, advised Judge Bortner, and drafted court opinions. While still in law school, Brian served as a certified legal intern through the Pennsylvania Governor’s Office of General Counsel where he represented the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation in administrative hearings.

Brian returned to Meadville to be closer to family and to give something back to the community where he was raised. He is President of the Saegertown High School Alumni Association, former President of the Board of Directors for Meadville Community Theatre, and a former member of the Board of Directors for Common Roots. Brian believes that John Adams put it best when he said that there is no higher calling for attorneys than “to assist the feeble and friendless, to discountenance the haughty and lawless, to procure the redress to wrongs, [and] the advancement of right.”
